I am up in the stars at the moment i don’t think anything could make me feel badly at the moment. I had such a wonderful weekend with my downline Kristy, good friend Yvonne and her sister and my stick by me through thick and thin Awesome Friend Louise. We took off on Friday for a weekend Crafting Retreat organised by one of my customers and her mum. They were knitting, sewing, patchworking, scrapbooking, cardmaking, spinning and most of all laughing and enjoying the company of like minded friends.
Well I packed the car and did I leave anything at home? NOPE. Yvonne and I had organised between us that one would bring these and the other would bring those but i pretty much bought most of my cardmaking and scrapbooking products.
You have to remember that if i were on a roll and suddenly i didn’t have what i needed then the inspiration would be gone and probably forgotten. Well thats my excuse anyway and i am sticking to it. The other ladies at the retreat were quite blown away by what we had bought with us especially since some of them only bought their spinning wheels or their knitting needles and wool.
For a long time i have done no scrapbooking i really am not a scrapbooker and I find that they take too long to achieve the look i am after and as such the photos are hidden in the drawer for another time. I have created a couple of pages that i am really loving but they (as always) took way too much effort for my liking. Well this weekend was to be my time to do some much needed scrapbook pages of my grandaughter Imogen and i did it with the help of the crew girl Scappin Kit from Stampin’Up!.
This was what I thought would be a very short attempt at scrapbooking but all day saturday afternoon I scrapbooked those phots and ended up at the end of the day finishing 14 pages. This is the reason I am on such a high. I have found a new love for scrapbooking and i found that i loved every page that i completed. I am going to show you one scrapbook page each day for the next 14 days and you can tell me what you think of them.

Just so you know I am prepping at the moment for my Summer mini launch so if you would like to come along and see these pages for yourself then email me that you are coming. Over the next week you will see and hear more about this day.
Well here it is

Family Update November 15, 2008

Check it out this grandaughter of mine has grown so much i can’t believe she is 6 months next week. Time flies when you are having fun.
We had her overnight last weekend and I didn’t get much sleep although she had plenty. Popped her down at 9.30 and she woke at 1.20am so i popped the bottle in her mouth and she went back off to sleep within minutes and woke at 8.50am the next morning.
She is a very loud sleeper and as Sally left the baby monitor for me right beside my bed I heard every noise  Imogen made and of course every noise she didn’t make. I was never like that with my own kids, I remember one night getting a call from the next door neighbor telling me that Craig was crying. I was dreaming he was crying so i didn’t wake up. (sad huh?)
Anyway here is a cute photo taken of her just a couple of weeks ago.
