Creating with Stampin’Up! Chipboard Bundle. October 30, 2008
Posted by kerri hunter in stampin'Up!.3 comments
I had this fantastic packet of Chipboard just sitting here doing nothing and need desperately to show you something that you too could do with it. Its a gorgeous Christmas shapes Chipboard, fantastic for covering with the lovely Stampin’Up! Double sided papers, stamping on (best way to stamp on chipboard is to cover it with Whisper white Ink first and let dry, then ink up or stamp on it)
Scrapbooking with the chipboard, just imagine all those pictures you have coming up on christmas day 2008.
But today I am going to show you the mobile that i created using the Chipboard Christmas Shapes still available in the Spring mini until the 30th of November and the Holiday harmony Designer papers.
You can create this for yourself by emailing or phoning me on khunter@vic.chariot.net.au or 0419 990499 to purchase the products while still available.
Onboard Trimmings: $38.95
Pomegranate Satin Ribbon: $18.95
Holiday Harmony Designer Series paper $11.95
Sanding blocks (2) $6.50
Glue Sticks (2) $7.50
Shipping 5.95 Straight to your door
TOTAL $89.80
Just think of all the extra chipboard you have to play with.
I will send you A large length of the retired silver cord for free.
Imagine adding the hand selected Accents and Elements to your order at $19.95 the things you could do with it and the Season of Joy stamp set which i used to decorate the star with the pomegranate stamp pad.
if you add the accents and elements at $19.95 and the Season of Joy stamp set at $51.95 you can still have the shipping at $5.95 and i will add the Pomegranate Stamp pad for free.

Thanks to Karen who has been emailing to check up on me. I will get back to creating i promise but at the moment i am having a little rest. I am looking forward to Regionals in 2 weeks time and seeing my wonderful upline Jenni doing her first workshop wow and catching up with my wonderful team of demonstrators.
If you haven’t checked out Sharon’s blog recently she is holding a class in the Ballarat area to make some Christmas goodies. They look really lovely and i wouldn’t mind attending myself but she thinks i am joking.
I have been babysitting my beautiful grandaughter Imogen and she is growing like a weed i better post some pictures for you all to see i can’t believe its over 5 months now since she was born.
Hubby is still hanging in limbo with his job at John Valves so keep your fingers crossed for us for a while longer. (you didn’t know about that one did you? Yep he works at the embattled company)
Also in limbo with my hands too with an update from the specialist telling me that with the problems i have with my shoulder, elbow and now hands it would not be a good idea to operate on the tendonitis in my thumbs as it could make it worse that it already was.
If i had swelling or catching in the thumbs then they would definately operate. Now to try something different like myotherapy and apparently pain modifying medication.
OKay last but not least i have updated the Stampin’Up! retired stamps for sale page with lots of new ones which are Sharons stamps and the other girls from my team are sending me their lists to put up as well so keep returning for updates over the next week.
Yep I know October 25, 2008

Were you at the Spring Paperific Expo in Melbourne? October 19, 2008
Posted by kerri hunter in stampin'Up!.5 comments
I was. It was sooo nice to speak to some of the readers of my blog and to catch up with my awesome customers, friends, Sovereign Stampers team members, atc group members, new friends and the lovely group of Stampin’Up! demonstrators that i was working with.
Claire organised the Stampin’Up! stand for the October 2008 Spring Paperific Expo and I was lucky enough to be able to work with her and other demonstrators.
The Stand looked fabulous and we had a lot of you coming in and chatting to us and taking photos of some of the amazing samples we had to show.
Here are just a few pictures from it.
If you were at the show and interested in becoming a demonstrator you probably chatted with one of the demonstrators that were there and hopefully they let you know about the fantastic company that we work for.
About the Stampin’Start Program that can earn you up to 15 free stamp sets of your choice from any current catalogue in your first 6 months as a demonstrator.
I know I forgot to tell you all how you can modify the starter kit to suit your needs and how there is almost a 40% saving on the original price of the products in the starter kit.
Did you know that you don’t have to do workshops to be a Stampin’Up! demonstrator? You can sign up just to purchase the kit or to receive the discounted products for you and your friends.
Thats Ros, Michelle and Claire working hard while i was taking lots of Photos. I was late too cause the traffic to Melbourne at that time of the morning was horrendous.
Well back to being a demonstrator.
I hope i told you how you can earn stampin’Up! dollars to spend on products and how Stampin’Up! offer rewards for your achievements.
Did you also know that you only have to place orders to the total of $500 every quarter and that because we are already in a stampin’Up! quarter you have until the end of March to meet that quota. Fantastic Hey?
Well what about Workshops? Did you fill in a door prize entry form while you were there so that you could maybe win one of those awesome prize baskets on offer? Did I chat with you about holding a Workshop in your own home? I don’t think i spoke to anybody about that. OOPS.
Well i will tell you now instead. When you host a workshop of your very own you will receive one of the fabulous Idea Book and Catalogues that are valued at over $12.95 for FREE. That photo you see is Michelle demonstrating EMERGING COLOUR a very pretty technique.
Okay so I went off topic again but back again to hosting your own workshop. You can receive $ to spend on Stampin’Up! products and exclusive HOSTESS ONLY FREE stamp sets. You receive everything that is made on the day and your guests all take home somthing for free. Thats right for FREE. Workshops are informal and fun. You can invite as many of as few of your friends as you wish. I think there may have been a Workshop Freebie on the wall at Paperific. Did you see it?
Is that you wandering around the Stampin’Up! stand in the photo?
Did you notice that there were a couple of bundles that you could purchase at a discounted price? I noticed a few of you taking up the opportunity and ordering it to have delivered straight to your door.
Yes you can order just by calling or emailing your demonstrator and have the ordered delivered directly to you.
Claire did a great job of organising don’t you think?
Well don’t forget the contact details on the back of anything you got at paperific. Send an email or Phone and be put in contact with a demonstrator who can fulfill your needs whether it be as a hostess, customer or as a member of a team.
thanks for reading and thanks especially to everyone who came up to me and said hello.
I love to know that you are reading my blog so leave a comment.

Stamp-a-stack with a difference October 12, 2008

A lot of the ladies who attend my classes have made a lot of christmas cards already and would prefer not to make anymore so here is a class designed especially for making christmas cards but there is a little difference. I have actually used my nestabilities and Cuttlebug embossing folders which aren’t sold by Stampin’ Up! but i thought you might like to see that stampin’Up! products can be used with any of the products on the market these days.
You will make 6 cards for $15 BYO Adhesive.
You will need to book in for this class at least 2 days beforehand so that everything can be pre-cut.
Here are the 3 designs. The class will be held on Sunday the 9th of November at 7.30pm.
My regular Stamp-a-stack this month is an all occasions class with no Christmas cards.

Have you heard about my Stamp-a-Stacks? I run new card designs every 3 weeks. I have 2 classes one on a Thursday night and one on a Sunday night. The next ones are the 19th of Octber and the 23rd of October at 7.30pm. They are held in my home in the Ballarat area and everyone who attend takes home 10 completed cards for just $20.
All you need to do is call me at 0419 990499 or email me at khunter@vic.chariot.net.au 2 days in advance to book in and just bring along some adhesive. I have Stampin’Up! snail adhesive that you can purchase and refills also. Everything else you need is supplied.
Here are the photos of the cards we will be creating for these 2 classes.
The last card was cased from Alisa. Her card was a different colour then mine but i loved the look so i have changed mine a little but kept the look of hers.
Hope to see you at one of my classes.

Some Scrapbooking October 12, 2008

Wow this is something i don’t do too often and you can probably tell cause i am not very good at it but i have a workshop next weekend and the one after and they are scrapbookers so i wanted to do a make and take for them and this is the 6 x 6 i came up with as attempt #1 but i am not sure if its a little too involved with all the punching and cutting out. Tell me what you think.
I added it shock shock to a 12 x 12 and added a photo and finished it all off too and really thats something i never do. They usually sit in a 6 x 6 album and never get finished off. Here is the completed 12 x 12 page.
