CARD BOX CLASS/KIT August 31, 2008
Posted by kerri hunter in stampin'Up!.2 comments
last night i had a couple of my downlines pop over and we drank way too much champagne and ate the loveliest home made apple pie. YUMMY thanks Roslyn. Of course we did do some creating and this is what I played with last night.
If you scroll down a couple of posts again you will see the card class that i am offering on the 28th of September and the Kit if you are wanting to create in the privacy of your own home. Lets be honest there was a time when i wouldn’t create anything new in front of anyone and who wants to go out when its wet and cold outside. Of course there is the best reason of them all for purchasing the kit and that is that you live nowhere neare Miners Rest in Victoria.
Anyway back to the creating, gosh i go off topic alot. When purchasing the kit i will also give you the measurements to make the boxes and bow that i put together last night. Yes same box different sizes and soooooo cute.
Isn’t the little one in the front with the bow just the cutest?
These are awesome for those gifts that require that something special to package them into. They are great christmas and birthday boxes and sooo personal.
PLEASE NOTE: Anybody purchasing the kit for september. I have decided on the October and November Creating for christmas class and the items you wil need for these classes will be what you already have in the September kit plus another very small and very inexpensive kit.

Anyone interested?
Here is how it works. I need 6 participants to get it underway. Each participant pays $16.95 which is the price of a roll of the ribbon so each person is purchasing a roll of ribbon but instead of receiving the whole roll of one colour i am going to cut it up so that you get the whole 6 colours. Once the share is filled I will then cut up the ribbon and send each of the 6 participants just over 2 metres of each colour. These are the IN COLOUR Stampin’Up! Stitched Grosgrain ribbons.
Available in Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky and River Rock.(oops forgot to photograph the soft sky will try and get a better photo in the daylight tomorrow)
This is not a great picture of the colour of the purely pomegranate its way nicer in person.
If more than 6 want to participate then i will add more groups but for now

Baroque Motifs “CASE” August 8, 2008

I am casing myself here. I made a card early last month for a
Stamp-a-Stack and it was using Always Artichoke and Mellow Moss.
I have changed the colours to Brocade Blue and Bashful Blue added the wide grosgraing ribbon and the pearls.
Here is a close up of the pearls which are found in the Pretties Kit
I have also trimmed the small flower and mounted it to the centre yet with the Always artichoke one i used the eyelets.
I really liked the way this one came out and hope you do too.
Are you interested in having a workshop yourself and receiving one of these for yourself? Then contact me today and book a workshop and remember to let me know you would like me to show you how I made this or any of my other creations at your workshop

When I first saw this set I knew it was for me. I was looking for something i could watercolour again since they retired my favorite set last year. This set is gorgeous and available in the new mini catalogue which you can find the link to in the post below this one.
I have used the Eastern Elegance rubons also to finish this off. I love using the rubons for my cards and for my scrapbooking.
The colours are Basic grey, whisper white, brocade blue, and the double sided paper Certainly celery.

I have been In Sydney for a few days over the weekend . Geoff and I drove up to spend some time with Leonie and her lovely family. Caught up for lunch with Sharon, Jossleen and Tracey. Now have you any idea how bad that can be when you have 5 good friends, all Stampin’Up! demonstrators having lunch together. It was almost as good as a Stampin’Up! convention except with 200 or more less demonstators.
Anyway back onto the story. We went to lunch at 1pm and the boys were ringing us at 6.30pm to see when we were coming home, I have no idea why the owners didn’t kick us out we weren’t even drinking or eating for at least 2 hours.
anyway you might like to know that the Mini Catalogue is now online for you to see.
Click on the Pic to be taken to a copy.
