Boho Backgrounds May 28, 2008

I was demonstrating the art of stamping with Markers recently at a workshop and just quickly used the not quite navy and old olive with the boho backgrounds and really loved it. Well I came home and a few days later got out the stamp set and came up with a lovely image and then the stamped dots and the layering but do you think I could finish it off to my liking? I tried everything and then Michelle came down on Sunday for my stamping team day and guess what? she finished it off and at the same time made one for herself. Don’t I just love to have a friend like her. She did a great job and it was so easy to complete. I love my team of Stampin’Up! Demonstrators they make me want to get up and create just for them.

The rules for the You Make My Day award are to re-present it to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blog land. Let them know through email or by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on. Beware you may get the awarded several times, and if you do, consider yourself really, really loved.
Okay so now who am I going to tag? Claire, Linda, Madonna, Jules, Sharon, Georgina, Maggie, Kristy, Tina and Tina.
Phew another tag out of the way I think I only have about 6 to go.

Sally had her partner home at the weekend so that meant I had some ME time with my craft room and with a cyberstamp happening on Sunday night on the stampersinc forum(my upline Jenni’s) it meant i have some samples to show on my blog for around a week. So look out for a week of creations
This is a challenge from Kristina Werners Blog
use brilliant blue, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful blue and Whisper white in a card, scrapbooking or OTP item and of course i chose a card. This is some Stampin’Up! DSP and the star punch with a Birthday greeting pretty simple really.

I love to get together with the girls from my team at least once a month. Yesterday was one of those days and it was no exception. Michelle came down from Melbourne and that was fantastic, she arrived about 9.30am and I was still in my jammies making my Team swaps.
Sharon gave me a Grandma Pressie and when I read the verse i got a lump in my throat its was so special and I had the special photo that was perfect for it in my bundle of baby photos.
Here is a very special pressie from a very special person. Thanks Shaz.

I made this card last week and how glad am I that I did. I have only worked one day this week but only because i just couldn’t keep my mind at work, for some reason it kept wandering to the hospital. Its the same with the creativity but I really need to sit at my table as I have a techniques class tomorrow for my lovely team member Kristy. Kristy is starting up her own blog at the moment and i will link it when she has completed it.
This card is simple but nice. I have used the dot background and the lovely labels from Stampin’Up! and the flower is from the new Stampin’Up! Pretties kit and I have coloured it with the Purely Pomegranate Reinker.

Its been a super busy weekend here with 3 workshops in 3 days and each night I have had to come home and restock the make and takes and restock the paperwork folders. We went out last night and caught up with some old friends we hadn’t seen in some time. Sometimes its nice to just leave things as they are and walk away just to have some ME time.
Here is a card I made last week before I get some more of my Tags completed.
This one is Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and Groovy Guava.
