Yep its the first time I have been published and even though its only the readers challenge of Stamping and Papercrafts my work is in print. You can see it in this months edition.
I have been creating again over the last couple of days but as I decided to submit these as well I will have to see if they take them first before I put them up here for all of you to see. I think they actually came up quite nice but I have said that before.
Here is a card I made a couple of days ago using the Free stamp set MERCI and the sentiment is from the friendship blooms Free Set. I like the way the colours came up in this card.

Well an old one of hers its weekend sketch challenge #30 and its the first one that I have done. I really should do lots more cause they really do challenge you and I thought that i did come up with something quite nice.
The colours are elegant eggplant, so saffron and close to cocoa. I have used the vellum which I have stamped the floral background stamp onto in Whisper white craft ink. The butterfly is stamped on vellum and coloured with markers and then blended with a blender pen.

We had a cyberstamp on my uplines forum tonight so I took the opportunity to do some of the challenges that I have been trying to make time for. One of these was the SBS7 Challenge to make the photo wallet from SCS.
Here is my version ladies it uses the colours choc chip, sage shadow and rose red which is also a colour challenge on SCS. This is the SALE-A-BRATION set Friendship blooms.
Sorry i have been such a slacker lately. Haven’t had much time for myself lately with SAB going right off. I am booked out every weekend now till the end of February. Last week was hectic with 3 workshops in a row but hey i got through it and this week because I am on nightshift I get a rest.

| What Kerri Means |
You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life. You are also a keeper of knowledge – meaning you don’t spill secrets or spread gossip. People sometimes think you’re snobby or aloof, but you’re just too deep in thought to pay attention to them. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You’re always up to something. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It’s easy to get you excited… which can be a good or bad thing. |
Frightening really that a lot of this is really what I am like.

Wow this is so lovely. I have been honoured with the You make my day award 3 times this week by my lovely Sisterhood 7 group.
First one was from Sabine she is so sweet and then Dawn Marie what an amazing cardmaker this girl is and just today by Jennifer who is a gorgeous person too.
okay now to pass on this award to 5 people who have made my day. 1st will be Melissa who was my secret santa last year and I got so many special things from her. The next person is Tina she is so special always thinking of others before herself and also just lost her dog to old age. The next is Linda I have to say this girl is very smart in the way that she looks at life nothing is ever black and white with this girl. Of course how could I forget my wonderful upline Jenni where would I be if I hadn’t chosen her to look after me when I signed with Stampin’Up!? Lastly is my wonderful friend who needs to get her butt into gear and get that blog of hers up and running Michelle.
okay thats my five and thanks to the girls who sent me the award in the first place.

Oh wow I have a few days off work and this afternoon decided to make this card bag that I found on leslie rich’s blog. It was so easy and it fits 5 cards in there. I haven’t any envelopes left after sending the christmas cards so thats definately the next thing on the wishlist or maybe the need list.
I start workshops tomorrow night for the Year 2008 and was going to spend the day cutting up cardstock for make and takes, demos and stampastacks that are coming up.
I want to also take this opportunity to thank everyone who has commented about my last post I really appreciated the comments.
This was more fun though. Here are the cards I made to go into the baggy.

Just not sure about this one January 15, 2008

hmmmmm Really not sure if I like it or not. Its not something I would normally come up with. It uses the spotlighting technique and I have punched some holes into the flowers.
Have you ever come up with something that you are not quite sure if you like it or not? I have looked at this over and over and just can’t say that it does anything at all for me.
the stamp set is bud basics from the summer mini and the greeting is from the sab catalogue. Colours are brocade blue, whisper white, so saffron and basic black.
tell me your thoughts honestly you won’t hurt my feelings.
